Assistant Director for Leadership & Outreach
Macki Snyder is the Assistant Director for Leadership and Outreach for the Appalachian & Community Together (ACT) foundation. She works with and oversees a team of over 25 student leaders who plan, execute, and assess large, campus-wide events like the annual Big Sale, Homecoming Blood Drive, Dance Marathon, The MLK Challenge and Don’t Throw It Away to mention a few. In addition, there are a host of recurring events that happen throughout the year that Macki leads. She loves the ability to use service, philanthropy, and the social change model to develop student leaders.
Macki earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Iona College, New Rochelle, NY, and a Master of Education in Higher Education and Student Affairs Administration from the University of Vermont, Burlington, in 2013.
