Coordinator for Campus Activites, Inclusion and Engagement
Emily Dabau is the Coordinator for Campus Activities. She advises the campus programming board, the Appalachian Popular Programming Society (APPS), which consists of more than 200 students. She directly advises the Special Events and Club Shows councils. Emily also coordinates Sustained Dialogue on campus, an intergroup dialogue program that prepares students, faculty, and staff to engage in meaningful conversation about various campus, community, and global challenges. In addition, Emily helps coordinate the 3-day INTERSECT Social Justice Retreat, aimed at empowering students to take positive action on campus.
Emily holds a Master of Arts degree in Student Affairs Administration from Appalachian State University, and a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Miami.
