Lauren Watson is a Graduate Assistant for Leadership Education and Development working to promote leadership education programs at Appalachian State. She advises student peer educators, co-coordinates the Appalachian Leadership Forum, and supports outreach efforts for leadership programs around campus. She believes that leadership is a continually evolving process and wants to help people realize their potential to lead and make a difference within groups and communities. 
 
Lauren holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing with a minor in Art from Berry College in Rome, Georgia. She is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Student Affairs Administration at Appalachian State University. 
 
In her free time, Lauren loves cooking, scuba-diving with her family, and trying local restaurants.
