Plemmons Student Union and Legends
Taylor Church is the Assistant Director for the Plemmons Student Union and Centralized Administration who works with students, faculty, staff and guests to ensure that they have a positive event experience. Taylor believes that the student union is the heart of campus where students gain relevant experience, host events, study, network, and most of all feel safe. By establishing a high standard of excellent customer service from a staff of over 150 student employees, Taylor hires, trains, and oversees the daily union operations.
Taylor has experience as a operations manager and an event planner in a number of student unions. At the Tampa Convention Center, he worked in operations managing large national, and international conventions and trade shows. Taylor presented event policies at the Association of Collegiate Event Directors International Conference and he volunteers on regional leadership teams for the Association of College Unions International.
Taylor earned a Bachelors of Science in Business Management at University of South Florida Tampa, and a Master of Business Administration from University of South Florida St.Petersburg.
